I really like how one of my professor's does discussions. When we start talking about a topic and she wants everyone to participate, she has us all get in a circle and go around talking about it. She requires us all to go, but we can go at whatever point we want to, we don't go in any sort of order. I really like that because it requires you to participate, but you pick when you go. She wont just call on you when you aren't prepared to talk. I think that that is a really good way to go about it. I would like my future classroom to be something like that!

Field Experience
Because I am in both EDU 270 and EDU 235 I get to do 25 hours of field experience (yay!). Luckily the classroom I have been placed in for my 270 class, is using a lot of technology. The first day I started going some of the students were starting to use iPads for the first time. The class is using the program DreamBox to play math games and do lessons. Only six students get to use the iPads during each session, so the class rotates which students get to use them on which days. I think it's really great that the students get to use the iPads and they are all really excited as well. In fact, the students who's day it isn't to use an iPad get really frustrated and jealous but know that their day will come.
